Apple's smart home hub, known internally as J490, is now being widely tested in employees' homes and could launch as early as next month, according to Mark Gurman. The device combines connected-device controls, video calls, intercom, media and Apple apps, running a new OS built around Siri AI and syncing with iPhone.
