A useful change何が変わるか
A product you can use, a price or access change, a funding event, or a policy decision. A famous name or a popular post is not enough on its own.使える製品、価格や利用条件の変更、資金調達、政策決定。具体的に何が変わるかを重視します。有名な社名や投稿の人気だけでは判断しません。
Enough to understand背景まで理解できること
The briefing explains the event and its significance. Story pages add available context and named next steps. When the material is limited, the result stays a short brief.出来事とその意味を簡潔に整理し、詳細ページで背景や原典にある今後の予定を補います。材料が少ない記事は短報にとどめます。
A place to stop読み終えられること
Up to 12 stories, with up to two unverified reports kept separate. The latest issue covers the previous 24 hours. There is no endless feed and no advertising.1つの号は最大12本。未確認情報は最大2本まで別枠です。今日の号は直近24時間を対象にし、最後まで読める分量にまとめます。広告はありません。

- 01 · Discover集める
Scheduled collection runs at 02:00, 06:00, 10:00, 14:00, 18:00 and 22:00 JST. RSS, official announcements, direct model listings from 11 reviewed publishers, Techmeme, Hacker News and developer repositories supply candidates, generally from the preceding 48 hours. Official links on Hacker News can qualify before they reach 100 votes.日本時間の2・6・10・14・18・22時に収集を予定しています。RSS、公式発表、確認済み11社のモデル公開一覧、Techmeme、Hacker News、開発者向けの公開リポジトリから、原則として直近48時間の候補を集めます。HNの公式情報は100票未満でも候補に入ります。
- 02 · Compare changes変化の中身を比べる
Reports about the same event are grouped. Explicit products, model releases, platform availability, pricing, policy and business decisions receive credit. Source provenance, bounded coverage and community signals, and age also affect the score. Opinions, shopping promotions, tutorials and prototypes are treated separately. A company name alone earns no release bonus. There are no category quotas.同じ出来事の報道をまとめ、新製品・モデル、対応サービスの拡大、価格変更、政策・事業の決定を加点します。一次資料、上限を設けた報道・議論の広がり、新しさも順位に反映します。意見、買い物情報、使い方の解説、試作品は区別し、社名だけでは新製品の加点をしません。分野別の枠数は固定しません。
- 03 · Write within the limit材料と予算の範囲で記事にする
Candidate order is computed by rules; generative AI drafts from substantive source text, then a separate AI review checks both languages against that evidence. Dates, regions, prices, access terms and company claims must keep their qualifiers. Unsupported drafts are revised once or withheld. This automated check is not independent reporting and cannot guarantee completeness. Unpublished stories are processed before checks for further developments in existing stories. A fixed generation budget means some candidates can wait until a later run; a collection run does not always produce 12 stories.候補の順番はルールで計算し、公式発表や記事本文を優先して取得し、生成AIが要約した後、別のAI点検で日本語・英語を元資料と照合します。日付・地域・価格・利用条件や、企業自身の主張であることを確認し、問題が残る原稿は掲載を保留します。自動点検は独自取材ではなく、すべてのニュースや誤りを網羅できるものではありません。既掲載記事の続報確認より未掲載のニュースを先に処理します。生成予算に上限があるため次の収集へ持ち越す候補もあり、1回の収集で必ず12本を作るわけではありません。
- 04 · Make a finite issue読み終えられる号にする
Today ranks stories added in the previous 24 hours, replaces superseded follow-ups, and shows up to 12. Unverified reports are separate. IN FOCUS introduces the first five in that same order, regardless of photo availability. Refreshing after a collection can change some stories and their order; the whole issue is not automatically replaced. This week retains every published story from the last seven days.Todayは直近24時間に掲載した記事を並べ、続報との重複を整理して最大12本を表示します。未確認情報は別枠です。IN FOCUSは同じ順番の先頭から最大5本。写真の有無は選定条件にしません。収集後の再読み込みで一部の記事と順位が変わることはありますが、毎回全件を入れ替える仕組みではありません。This weekには直近7日間の全掲載記事が残ります。
This is a selection system, not a guarantee of complete coverage. SIGNAL does not collect X directly. Official pages can be unavailable, feeds can stop updating, and our bounded scans can miss items. Collection reports record source failures, latest dates and scan limits. We have not measured an overall recall or accuracy percentage against every important story.すべての重要ニュースを網羅する保証はありません。Xの直接収集は行っていません。公式ページの取得拒否、フィードの更新停止、取得件数の上限による漏れもあります。収集記録に取得失敗・最新日付・上限を残して点検できるようにしています。重要ニュース全体を母数にした網羅率・正確率は、まだ測定できていません。
What the numbers mean数字と順位について
The chart compares collected source-site counts with SIGNAL’s reading order. Some aggregation, social and distribution sites are excluded. The count can still include company announcements and related or repeated coverage. It is not a count of independent investigations or a measure of truth.図では収集時の関連サイト数と、SIGNALの読む順番を比べています。一部の集約・SNS・配信サイトは集計から除いていますが、企業発表や関連報道、同じ情報の紹介は含まれます。独自取材の数や、正しさを示す数字ではありません。
The order is computed from event type, coverage, source signals and recency. Recent issues are recalculated from the collected material under the current policy. It is an estimate, not an objective measure of importance. Older published stories keep the scores recorded at publication.順位は出来事の種類、話題の広がり、情報源の手がかり、新しさから計算します。直近の号は、現在の基準で収集データを再評価します。重要性を客観的に測る尺度ではありません。過去の記事には掲載時のスコアが残っています。
How the words are written記事の作り方
AI helps summarize accessible source material in English and Japanese. A separate automated review compares claims, dates, regions, access terms and translations with the supplied material. Those checks can catch some errors; they do not establish that a source’s claims are true, and these briefs are not individually fact-checked by a newsroom.取得できた材料をもとに、AIで英語と日本語の要約を作成します。別工程の自動点検で、主張・日付・地域・利用条件・翻訳を材料と照合しますが、情報そのものの正しさを保証するものではありません。すべての記事を人が個別に事実確認しているわけではありません。
Unverified reports stay visibly separate. For consequential decisions, follow the links and check the original announcement or reporting.未確認の情報は区別して表示します。重要な判断をする際は、リンク先の発表や報道も確認してください。
Sources & images出典と画像
We link to original reporting and summarize rather than republish full articles. An image appearing on a webpage or in an RSS feed does not grant permission to reuse it. Attribution alone is not a license.元記事にリンクし、記事全文は転載せず要点を整理します。ウェブページやRSSで取得できる画像でも、再利用の許可があるとは限りません。出典表記だけで利用許諾に代わるものではありません。
The public edition combines reviewed official product images, dated archive photos and original explanatory diagrams grounded in primary sources. Credits distinguish these formats. Missing images use a text layout. We do not fabricate news photographs or product screenshots, and image availability does not affect story ranking.公開版は、確認した公式製品画像、撮影時期を記した資料写真、一次資料をもとにした独自の解説図を組み合わせます。クレジットで種類を区別し、適切な素材がない記事は文字中心で掲載します。出来事の写真や製品画面を捏造せず、画像の有無で記事の順位を変えません。
An independent project個人で作るニュース媒体
SIGNAL is a student-built, independent project by Shogo Kikuchi, to make staying informed easier for himself and others. RSS is available for the public edition.
